Classroom Management

Classroom management addresses the skills, strategies, and approaches that teachers use to create a welcoming and supportive classroom environment (Korpershoek et al., 2016). The goal of effective classroom management is to support students both academically and social emotionally (Korpershoek et al., 2016). The practice of classroom management is one that is necessary for students’ learning (Korpershoek et al., 2016). Finally, classroom management is a positive practice for all students, not just students who engage in challenging behaviors in the classroom (Korpershoek et al., 2016).
