Consider your initial thoughts regarding challenges that you may encounter in the classroom related to classroom management, collaboration, instructional strategies, and student engagement. Reflect on the tools, tips, and tricks reviewed throughout this PLM and how they may be applied to the challenges that you reflected upon in your Guided Notes. 

 

Application

As a beginning teacher, you are faced with multiple challenges to create an engaging and student-centered classroom. You are constantly asked to differentiate instruction to meet various learning needs as well as make sure all students are prepared to continue their educational journey. This expectation can feel overwhelming and you may be ready to run out the door! You have been invited to watch veteran teachers deliver instruction to their students. Your goal is to learn and consider for application various instructional strategies that you can utilize in your classroom to improve overall student achievement.

Watch all of the following videos or only the one that applies to your area of interest or practice to observe a teacher delivering instruction to their students. Review the questions located below the videos.
